English Book Club

The Women’s Voice: reading against the grain

The English Book Club is the one and only Reading Club in English in the whole of Santa Coloma.

At the EBC we enjoy reading and chatting together about the best novels and short stories written in English.

We pick up the book from the library and have a whole month to read it. Finally, we gather at the library one Friday per month at 7:00 p.m. to talk about it.

This season we have selected nine amazing novels written exclusively by women.

Join the club and discover new writers like the Nigerian writer Oyinkan Braithwaite, Donna Leon, Toni Morrison, the South African writer Nadine Gordimer, Nicole Krauss, Amy Tan, Patricia Highsmith, Penelope Fitzgerald and Mary Ann Shaffer.

Stage manager: Raoul Izzard.
