Ask a Librarian: Virtual Reference Service
Ask a Librarian is the Barcelona Provincial Council Network of Municipal Libraries online information service. The service is staffed by librarians, who reply to questions within 72 hours (although response time may be longer at weekends and during holidays.
You can ask your questions in Catalan, Spanish or English.

In accordance with Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Information, users are informed that the personal information provided will be included on a Networking of Libraries file, owned by Barcelona Provincial Council, for the purposes of replying to questions and compiling statistics on the service. To exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion or complaint, the person concerned should send a message by email to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The service is managed using QuestionPoint, a web product provided by the firm of OCLC (OnlineComputerLibraryCenter) which complies with conditions of security and confidentiality required by current legislation. The terms of services are available from the following link.
